Sailors assigned to Commander, Task Group 56.1 and
Helicopter Mine Countermeasure Squadron 15 conducted mine countermeasure training
operations in the Arabian Gulf from Afloat Forward Staging Base (Interim) USS Ponce (AFSB(I) 15). CTG 56.1 conducts mine countermeasures, explosive ordnance disposal, salvage-diving, and force protection operations throughout the 5th Fleet area of operations.
