U.S. 5th Fleet Area of Responsibility - U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and AH-64D Apache helicopter, assigned to 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, conduct daytime landing qualifications aboard the Afloat Forward Staging Base USS Ponce (AFSB 15). Ponce is deployed to support maritime security operations and mine counter measure efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
