USS Sterett Passing Exercise

201008-N-NC885-1058 GULF OF OMAN (Oct. 8, 2020) - Yeoman 2nd Class Wanda Taylor, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104), waves to Sailors aboard the Royal Navy frigate HMS Montrose (F236) as Sterett assumes duties in support of Operation Sentinel in the Gulf of Oman, Oct. 8. Sterett is part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations, currently supporting Operation Sentinel to ensure maritime security and stability in the critical waterways of the Central region.
