U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Law Enforcement Specialist 1st Class George Soto, middle, assigned to Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia (PATFORSWA), shows medical equipment used for visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) operations to members of the Saudi Arabian Border Guard and Combined Task Force (CTF) 152, during a visit to the Coast Guard Maritime Engagement Team training facility on board Naval Support Activity Bahrain, Sept. 10. PATFORSWA is comprised of the Maritime Engagement Team, shoreside support personnel and six 110' cutters and is the Coast Guard's largest unit outside of the U.S., playing a key role in supporting the Navy’s maritime security and maritime infrastructure protection operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
