(Feb. 18, 2016) U.S. Marines load onto a landing craft utility
(LCU) in the well deck aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) as part of Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 16. The U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and Kuwait Armed Forces are conducting PHIBLEX 16, a bilateral amphibious and ground exercise, to enhance operational readiness and improve interoperability between U.S. and regional partner forces.
