U.S. Naval Forces Central Command/5th Fleet/Combined Maritime Forces Commander Vice Adm. Samuel Paparo spoke with Commander of the Kuwaiti Navy MG Khalid Al-Kandari, Sept. 17.
The leaders reaffirm the strong defense relationship between the United States and Kuwait and the importance of naval partnership to ensure maritime security, especially in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Gulf of Oman.
Paparo also expressed appreciation to Al-Kandari for Kuwait’s commitment to the Combined Maritime Forces to ensure regional security and stability.
