ADT & ADOS Requirements and Entitlements
The following requirements apply to ADT and AT:
- All personnel must comply with the AT/ADT application process. The Command/tenant commandwill make the determination to fill the position for a specific training period.
- When applying for a billet, personnel must include the billet number and desired dates with the ADT application.
- Training periods must account for two OCONUS travel days (Friday and Saturday) with the member reporting for duty Sunday.
- Members applying for watchstanding positions must comply with the training schedule associated with the position.
ADSW entitlements
The entitlements for ADOS are different than those for AT/ADT. In Bahrain, ADOS entitlements include:
- Base pay and allowances
- Overseas Housing Allowance (OHA) and Cost Of Living Allowance (COLA)
- Imminent danger pay
- Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH): with dependents for home zip code, and Family Separation Allowance (FSA) if you have eligible dependents living at home while you perform duty here
- 180 day and longer ADOS orders do not include per diem. NAVCENT does not fund ADOS shorter than 180 days
- Please ask your NOSC, your local Reserve medical staff, or your local PSD if you have any questions regarding legal, medical, or retirement entitlements for ADOS orders.
