Assigned to Combined Task Force (CTF) 150, Momsen is providing food and water to the crew of the motor vessel, who were recently released by pirates.  CTF 150, currently led by Canada, is comprised of warships from numerous Coalition nations including France, Germany, Pakistan, Japan, Canada, United Kingdom and the U.S and is responsible for conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman, Arabian Sea, Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.
