Vice Adm. Samuel Paparo, commander of U.S. Naval Forces, U.S. 5th Fleet and Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), met with his Excellency Mr. Piyush Srivastava, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the command headquarters on board Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain, March 3.

They discussed the importance of a strong India-U.S. relationship and the shared commitment of the Indian Navy and U.S. Navy to deter illegal maritime activity in the Indian Ocean Region.

They also talked about the importance of naval partnerships like CMF, and toured the NSA Bahrain waterfront.
